Ablade Glover

The father of Ghanaian contemporary art, Ablade Glover has spent most of his life teaching and painting. His international following was enhanced when he was selected as one of the eight contemporary African artists in a show at the Studio Museum in Harlem. His heavy oils are worked only with a pallet knife resulting in an impressionistic effect.
