Because Acha Debela describes himself as a painter, we can be certain we have the latter. His work is widely exhibited and collected but perhaps the highest testimony came when his work was selected out of 4500 entrant for a German computer art calendar. He was not only one of the 12 chosen; he was one of only two artists who matched the description of a cutting edge artist.
