B.O.N.

B.O.N. stands for Benjamin Offei Nyako. B.O.N. Is the second generation of Ghanaian contemporary artists; Ablade Glover being the first; B.O.N. being Ablade's student. Like his teacher he paints using thick oils and a palet knife. Following that, B.O.N.'s technique diverges from his teacher with his work being somewhat more representational and arguing for his being a very strong colorist. B.O.N. has had a number of one man shows in Euorpe and a greater number in Ghana.
