Mor Faye

Tragically only recognized after his death, Mor Faye is perhaps the only contemporary artist who has been exhibited twice at the Museum for African Art. Other exhibits he can claim range from a one man show at the World Bank to a group show at the Venice Biennale. Fortunately for us he was very prolific. The body of work he leaves us is rich in abstraction and homage to a very fertile imagination.
