Ouattara

Ouattara was “discovered” by Jean-Michel Basquiat in Paris and brought to New York. His work is sometimes compared to Basquiat’s; however, he has done very well on his own with major exhibits and collectors. He is currently represented by Gagosian Gallery. Ouattara considers himself a shaman and the deep symbolic and spiritual nature of his work reflects that.
