Sokari Douglas Camp

The list of museums that have acquired and or exhibited Sokari Douglas Camp’s sculpture are too numerous to list; however, a short list would be in order: The Museum for African Art, The Minneapolis Museum of Art, The National Museum of African Art, The American Museum of Natural History and The British Museum. Her show at Contemporary African Art Gallery was our first sell out. It is heartening to see that people really are able to know extraordinary art when they see it.
